Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by a representative who will assist with your transfer to your hotel in Arusha. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax after your journey. You may choose to explore the city’s markets and local shops or simply unwind at your hotel. Overnight in Arusha.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive through the park, where you can spot a variety of wildlife including lions, giraffes, and wildebeests. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for the Serengeti National Park, passing through the lush Ngorongoro Highlands and the Olduvai Gorge, a significant archaeological site. You will have a picnic lunch en route. Arrive in the Serengeti in the afternoon and proceed with a game drive as you make your way to your accommodation. The Serengeti is famous for its annual migration and is home to an incredible array of wildlife. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp in the Serengeti. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Witness the stunning landscapes and the abundant wildlife, including the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffaloes. You may also have the opportunity to see cheetahs, hyenas, and many other species. Between game drives, return to the camp for lunch and some relaxation. Enjoy dinner and another night in the Serengeti.
Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, you will depart the Serengeti and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way, you may spot more wildlife and enjoy the changing landscapes. Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro Crater rim, you will check into your lodge and have lunch. The afternoon is free to enjoy the breathtaking views of the crater from your lodge or take a leisurely walk in the surrounding areas. Dinner and overnight at your lodge on the crater rim. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
Early in the morning breabkfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game viewing. The crater is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most remarkable wildlife destinations in the world. You can expect to see a high concentration of animals, including lions, elephants, rhinos, and an array of bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before continuing your game drive. Ascend back to the lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Ngorongoro to Arusha
After breakfast, you will depart Ngorongoro and head back to Arusha. The drive will take you through the scenic landscapes of Tanzania, allowing for some final views and photo opportunities. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will have lunch and then be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax or do some last-minute shopping. Overnight in Arusha.
